Masthead Ideas

I chose this idea as it gives the reader the impression that by reading this magazine they can get closer to the bands by gaining information about them that if they didn't read this magazine they would not know. This is the same as physically being at the side of the stage as they can see everything that happens whereas if you were just with the rest of the crowd in the normal place you would not see as much and you would miss things that may be important to you. Other ideas that I considered out of this list were Bass and Riot. I didn't choose these as they sound like the generic music magazine, are not original and are most likely already a magazine masthead. This magazine indicates genre as if the target audience see this on the shelf they will know what this word means whereas if someone who liked Justin Bieber for instance they would not know what it means.
